cloud & microsoft 365
You're paying for M365.
Are you actually using it?
Most businesses use less than 30% of what their Microsoft 365 subscription includes.
RTUC manages, secures and optimises your entire M365 environment — from Exchange and Teams through to Azure, Copilot governance and cloud backup — so you get the full value of your investment.

what we manage
End-to-end Microsoft cloud management,
not just helpdesk.
We don’t just fix M365 issues when they come up — we manage, govern and optimise your entire Microsoft cloud environment proactively, so it works the way it should and costs what it should.
Microsoft 365 Management
Day-to-day administration of your entire M365 tenant — user provisioning, licence management, Exchange configuration, Teams governance and SharePoint administration. We handle the complexity so your team can focus on work, not IT admin.
- User and mailbox administration
- Licence procurement and optimisation
- Teams and SharePoint governance
- Exchange mail flow and hygiene
- Conditional access and MFA configuration
- Monthly M365 health reporting
Cloud Backup & Recovery
Microsoft and Google do not back up your data at file level. A deleted email, corrupted SharePoint file or ransomware-encrypted OneDrive can be gone permanently without a proper backup solution. We protect everything with Veeam and Datto.
- Exchange Online email backup
- SharePoint and OneDrive backup
- Teams messages and files backup
- Google Workspace backup (GSuite)
- Point-in-time restore capability
- Daily backup health monitoring
Identity & Access Management
Your Microsoft Entra ID is the gatekeeper to everything your business runs in the cloud. We configure and manage identity, conditional access policies, MFA enforcement and single sign-on — ensuring the right people have the right access, nothing more.
- Entra ID (Azure AD) administration
- Conditional access policy design
- MFA deployment and enforcement
- Single sign-on configuration
- Privileged identity management
- Access review and cleanup
M365 Security & Compliance
Microsoft 365 includes powerful security tools that most businesses never fully enable or configure correctly. We deploy and manage Microsoft Defender, Purview data governance and compliance policies to harden your tenant against threats and meet your regulatory obligations.
- Microsoft Defender for M365 configuration
- Microsoft Purview data classification
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
- Sensitivity label deployment
- Compliance score improvement
- Essential 8 alignment for cloud controls
Device Management (Intune)
Microsoft Intune lets you manage every device in your organisation from a single console — enforcing security policies, deploying applications, controlling access and remotely wiping lost devices. We configure and manage Intune as part of your M365 environment.
- Windows, macOS, iOS and Android
- Device compliance policy enforcement
- Application deployment via Intune
- Remote wipe and device retirement
- Autopilot for new device onboarding
- BYOD policy and enrolment
Microsoft 365 Migrations
Moving to Microsoft 365, migrating between tenants, or consolidating after an acquisition — M365 migrations are complex and high-risk if not done properly. RTUC has completed migrations ranging from 10 to 500+ users, with a structured approach that minimises downtime and data risk.
- Email and mailbox migration
- SharePoint and OneDrive migration
- Tenant-to-tenant consolidation
- Google Workspace to M365 migration
- On-premises Exchange to Exchange Online
- Post-migration validation and support
getting more from m365
Most businesses are leaving
half their M365 subscription unused.
A standard Microsoft 365 Business Premium subscription includes endpoint management via Intune, advanced threat protection via Defender, information protection via Purview, and identity governance via Entra ID — all in addition to the familiar apps like Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
Most businesses we work with are paying for all of this but only actively using the core apps. The security and governance tools sitting dormant in your tenant are some of the most valuable — and they’re already paid for.
Â
When RTUC takes over your M365 management, one of the first things we do is a licence audit — identifying what you’re paying for, what you’re using, and what could be switched on immediately to improve your security posture without any additional spend.
What a typical M365 audit finds
On average, businesses we audit have 3–4 unused or underused features included in their existing licence tier that would materially improve their security or productivity — with no additional cost to enable them.
What's in your M365 subscription
- Exchange Online
Business email hosting, calendaring and contacts — fully managed and secured.
- Microsoft Teams
Chat, voice, video and collaboration — properly configured and governed.
- SharePoint Online
Document management and intranet — with proper permissions and structure.
- OneDrive
Personal cloud storage — backed up, synced and access-controlled.
- Microsoft Defender
Endpoint and email threat protection — often unused despite being included.
- Microsoft Intune
Device management for all platforms — commonly available but rarely deployed.
- Microsoft Purview
Data classification, DLP and compliance — the governance layer most skip.
- Microsoft Copilot
AI assistant across all M365 apps — requires governance before deployment.
microsoft copilot
Copilot is powerful. Ungoverned,
it's a risk.
Microsoft Copilot is the most significant productivity shift in the M365 platform since Teams. It can summarise emails, draft documents, surface insights from your data and automate repetitive tasks — but only if your environment is properly prepared for it.
The problem most businesses discover too late: Copilot surfaces whatever your users can already access. Years of overshared files, misconfigured SharePoint permissions and forgotten document libraries become instantly findable. Without proper preparation, Copilot doesn’t just boost productivity — it exposes data that should have been locked down years ago.
RTUC prepares your environment for Copilot before you switch it on — and manages it properly once you do.
- SharePoint permissions audit
We identify and remediate overly broad sharing permissions across your SharePoint environment before Copilot can surface them.
- Sensitivity label deployment
We classify your data with Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels so Copilot respects information boundaries across your tenant.
- Data Loss Prevention policies
DLP policies prevent Copilot and users from sharing sensitive data outside approved channels or external parties.
- Copilot usage governance
We configure Copilot interaction policies and audit logging so you have visibility over how AI is being used across your organisation.
- Staff readiness and training
We help your team understand how to use Copilot effectively and safely — maximising the productivity benefit while managing the risk.
what we manage
Microsoft doesn't back up your data.
We do.
This surprises almost every business we tell.
Microsoft provides infrastructure redundancy — if their datacentre fails, your service stays up. But if you delete an email, corrupt a SharePoint file or get hit by ransomware that encrypts your OneDrive, Microsoft cannot restore it at file level. That’s your responsibility.
Email & Calendar backup
Full backup of all Exchange Online mailboxes, calendars, contacts and tasks. Point-in-time restore for individual items or entire mailboxes — going back up to 365 days. Critical for legal holds, compliance and accidental deletion recovery.
Powered by Veeam for M365
SharePoint & OneDrive backup
File-level backup of all SharePoint sites, document libraries and OneDrive accounts. Restore individual files, folders, entire sites or full user drives to any point in time. Essential protection against ransomware, accidental deletion and permission errors.
Daily automated backup
Teams backup
Backup of Teams channels, messages, files and meeting recordings. Teams data is particularly vulnerable to accidental deletion and tenant configuration changes — a proper backup ensures nothing is lost permanently.

cloud migrations
Moving to M365 —
without the disruption.
Whether you’re migrating from on-premises Exchange, Google Workspace, or consolidating multiple tenants after an acquisition, RTUC follows a structured process that keeps your business running throughout.
1.
Discovery & scoping
Inventory of existing environment, data volumes, dependencies and cutover risk assessment.
2.
Tenant preparation
Target M365 tenant configuration — security baselines, policies, domain setup and licence allocation.
3.
Pilot migration
Small group migration to validate process, test mail flow and identify any environment-specific issues.
4.
Full migration
Phased or cutover migration of all users, mailboxes and data — scheduled to minimise business disruption.
5.
Post-migration support
Hypercare support period, documentation handover and training for staff on the new environment.
Microsoft Azure
Cloud infrastructure that scales with your business.
For businesses that need more than M365 — hosted servers, virtual desktops, custom application hosting, or disaster recovery infrastructure — Microsoft Azure is the platform most of our clients choose.
RTUC designs, deploys and manages Azure environments with the same proactive approach we apply to everything else.
We’re not going to put you in Azure for the sake of it. If your workloads are better suited to on-premises infrastructure, we’ll tell you. Cloud decisions should be driven by business outcomes, not vendor incentives.
Infrastructure
Virtual machines
Hosted Windows and Linux servers with right-sized compute and managed patching.
Productivity
Azure Virtual Desktop
Cloud-hosted desktops for remote teams — consistent experience on any device.
Resilience
Azure backup & DR
Off-site backup and disaster recovery for on-premises servers via Azure Site Recovery.
Networking
Azure networking
VPN gateways, virtual networks, ExpressRoute and private connectivity to Azure.
Governance
Cost management
Azure spend monitoring, right-sizing recommendations and budget alerts to prevent bill shock.
Security
Azure Sentinel (SIEM)
Cloud-native SIEM for threat monitoring across your Azure and M365 environment.
Microsoft licensing
The right licence tier makes a
significant difference.
Many businesses are on the wrong M365 plan — either overpaying for features they don’t use, or missing critical security tools because they went with the cheapest option.
We help you land on the right tier and manage procurement on your behalf.
